Having recently been doing an expository study of James 1 at The Master's Church, and going through a series of trials in my own life, I was led to considering God's grace in carrying me through. He promises to always meet our needs, not our wants. It is amazing to see how He faithfully fulfills His promises even while we are in the valley of trials.

Riding my motorcycle has long been a great time for inspiration. Being close to God's wonders works its magic upon one's soul. This contemplation was written because it was inspired by a drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains to Pennsylvania. I looked at the lush fields filled with livestock shadowed by the majestic mountains and thought about where I stood with God.
